The Polytechnic Institute of Setubal is organizing
its 3rd International
Week, which will take place at 23-27 March 2010.
We have chosen Focus on Learning as
the leading theme for the International
Week. Accordingly, this theme should in some way
permeate the presentations
to be proposed.
THE MAIN AIMS OF THE EVENT ARE
- To promote internationalization and mobility at the
IPS;
- To provide an international context for sharing
knowledge and experiences;
- To create an opportunity for interaction and
networking;
- To discuss approaches to student-centred learning.
THE PROGRAMME THIS YEAR WILL INCLUDE:

- Sessions for teachers
- Working sessions with teachers
- Institutional presentations
- Visits to the IPS premises
- International dinner
- Cultural visit (on the 27th March)

- Classes for students on a specific scientific topic
which adopt student-centered
methodologies as far as possible;
- Sessions for teachers aimed to present or debate
teaching and learning approaches;
- Institutional presentations;
