7 - Flow exterior • The student knows how to apply the equations of statics and fluid dynamics applied to fluid flows
• The student knows prepare and analyze comprehensive mass balance and energy
• The student can identify and explain the operation of piping and accessories simple and turbomachinery
• The student can identify and use instruments for measuring pressure, flow, temperature and strength
• Work effectively in a group project or team
• Understand the notion of uncertainty, ambiguity and limits of knowledge
• Apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering specific to your business
• Design and conduct experiments, analyze and interpret data
• Identify, formulate and solve engineering problems
• Explain the foundations of solid mechanics and fluid
• Explain the operating principles of common machines, pumps, fans, turbines, etc..
• Perform calculations of operating parameters of gas and hydraulic systems and choose the features of business
machines• Perform mass balances, energy and determine the efficiency of thermal systems
• Using the most common equipment for measuring the control of energy-producing systems and mechanical
systems -
Teaching Methods
Theoretical-practical lessons: expository method (supported by audio-visual) and demonstrative method (with
resolution of practical problems from the students).
Laboratory classes: experimental method (laboratory test on the subjects addressed in theoretical-practical
lessons).
Distributed assessment with final examination. -
