Intended Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of the microcredential, participants will be able to:
Integrate clinical knowledge in the management of simulated clinical scenarios, demonstrating structured clinical reasoning and effective prioritisation.
Make evidence-informed clinical decisions adapted to the complexity and specific requirements of child nursing care.
Apply effective communication strategies with the child, family, and multidisciplinary team in high-acuity and high-demand contexts.
Perform safely and in a coordinated manner in simulated critical situations, demonstrating leadership, teamwork, and error management competencies.
Identify early signs of clinical deterioration and implement timely interventions in scenarios representative of paediatric nursing practice.
Engage in structured briefing and debriefing processes, adopting a reflective approach to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
Transfer competencies developed through simulation to real clinical practice, strengthening safety, quality, and consistency of child-centred nursing care. -
