Intended Learning Outcomes:
. Upon completion of the microcredential, participants will be able to:
. Integrate clinical knowledge in the management of simulated clinical scenarios, demonstrating structured clinical reasoning and effective prioritisation.
. Make evidence-informed clinical decisions adapted to the complexity and specific requirements of child nursing care.
. Apply effective communication strategies with the child, family, and multidisciplinary team in high-acuity and high-demand contexts.
. Perform safely and in a coordinated manner in simulated critical situations, demonstrating leadership, teamwork, and error management competencies.
. Identify early signs of clinical deterioration and implement timely interventions in scenarios representative of paediatric nursing practice.
. Engage in structured briefing and debriefing processes, adopting a reflective approach to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
. Transfer competencies developed through simulation to real clinical practice, strengthening safety, quality, and consistency of child-centred nursing care.
