  • Degree objectives

    The Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (LEM) is organised into 180 ECTS credits. Similar to courses with similar objectives taught at higher education institutions within the European Union, the course operates on a semester basis, with 30 ECTS credits to be completed in each semester and five course units running simultaneously in each semester. The high laboratory component in the course organisation ensures that students can apply the knowledge and skills acquired to the specific activities of their professional profile.

    Provide students with a markedly practical and experimental education without losing sight of the theoretical foundations of the knowledge necessary for the practice of Mechanical Engineering in its different areas.
    The Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (LEM) is a professional who studies, develops, researches, designs, and projects components, machines, equipment, installations, and mechanical and thermal systems, using conventional or renewable energy sources, supervises or collaborates in the manufacturing, assembly, operation, inspection, quality control and maintenance phases of all types of installations, thus acquiring a set of skills that allows them to quickly enter the job market, as demonstrated by their high employability rate.
