Objetivos do curso

The Higher Professional Technical Course (CTeSP) in Logistics provides ISCED (Short-cycle tertiary education) level 5 training, oriented to the labor market through the exercise of functions at the level of logistics processes in various types of organizations, public or private, from different sectors of economic activity. The Study Plan of the course is organized on a semester basis, corresponding to 120 credits (ECTS). This comprises 2 academic years, consisting of 16 curricular units, with 3000 hours of total work (900 hours of contact, of which 455 are application; 2100 hours of work, of which 600 correspond to the internship).

Objetivos da aprendizagem e competências a desenvolver

The CTeSP of Logistics aims to train professionals capable of analyzing, implementing and improving logistics processes in organizations. You should have technical skills that allow you to carry out an integrative analysis of the supply chain where the organization operates, proposing new solutions with support for operation plans and performance reports. You will be a professional capable of assuming and assisting the functions of logistics operator, warehouse manager, traffic manager and procurement manager in an organization.

Saídas profissionais

Professional Certification level 5 in Logistics allows the exercice of technical functions in different areas of activity, related to the implementation and continuous improvement of logistics processes and the supply chain. The professional technician in Logistics will be able to develop their professional activity in various aspects from logistics operator, warehouse manager, traffic manager and procurement in an organization.

Recognition of prior learning is carried out in accordance with the Academic Regulations of the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal.

Condições de acesso e ingresso

Hold secondary education or equivalent, which includes the subject of Socioeconomic Sciences or Mathematics or Portuguese; Holder of M23 Exams for access to the course; Holder of a technological specialization diploma, a higher professional technician diploma or a higher education degree.
