Degree objectives
Sustainability reporting is currently taking on particular relevance in organisations due to crisis situations, namely the climate crisis, which result in regulatory and normative measures, as well as pressure from the various stakeholders. The urgency and the legally established timing mean that knowledge and skills must be acquired quickly in the area of sustainability and its reporting.
The importance of continuous and specific training in thematic areas is increasing, and the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal has taken on the role of facilitating access to knowledge by offering short courses. In this specific case, the short course on offer is the result of a partnership between the School of Business Sciences and the Setúbal School of Technology. -

Learning objectives and skills to be developed
The short course on Reporting and Communicating Organisational Sustainability aims to address the importance of Sustainability Reporting by presenting and analysing current references and working on their application, offering students and professionals the chance to develop their skills in this area. The aim is for trainees to acquire know-how in the area of sustainability reporting.
