3rd International Conference on Resilience and Sustainable Regions

The Polytechnic University of Setúbal will host, on October 29 and 30, the 3rd International Conference on Resilience and Sustainable Regions, an event that will bring together researchers, professionals, students, and decision-makers from more than 15 countries for a broad discussion on strategies for sustainable development and territorial resilience.

With a strong multidisciplinary focus, the initiative aims to explore topics such as the circular economy, innovation, artificial intelligence applied to the environment, regional governance, sustainable entrepreneurship, and organizational responsibility.

The event is being organized by IPS, in partnership with the European university alliance E³UDRES², the research centers CIEQV, CITUR, and MARE, and FORGES —the Forum Association for Higher Education Management in Portuguese-Speaking Countries and Regions.

The two-day program includes plenary sessions, scientific presentations, thematic workshops, and networking opportunities.

With this initiative— for which abstract submissions are open until July 20—IPS reinforces its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to promoting knowledge as an essential tool for addressing the contemporary challenges facing regions and communities.
