  • Degree objectives

    The Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (LEEC) is organised into 180 ECTS credits. The course operates on a semester basis, with 30 ECTS credits to be completed in each semester, with 5 curricular units running simultaneously. The high laboratory component in the course organisation ensures that students can apply the knowledge and skills acquired to the specific activities of their professional profile. This degree consists of two branches: Electric Mobility and Renewable Energy (MEER) and Electronics and Computers (EC).

    LEEC is organised in such a way that its graduates have a set of skills that enable them to quickly and successfully enter the job market, where the knowledge they have acquired is tailored to the needs of the surrounding business environment. On the other hand, basic training has not been neglected, with the aim of ensuring a sufficiently broad spectrum of training, necessary to equip graduates with the ability to outline and undertake continuous professional development.

    Recognition of prior learning is carried out in accordance with the Academic Regulations of the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal.
