At the Polytechnic University of Setúbal we promote cooperation as an essential pillar of our work. Whether at regional or international level, we seek to create synergies between academia, the community and the business community.

From a regional point of view, through the Dinamiza platform, we bring together agents from the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, creating a collaborative environment for co-producing knowledge and sharing innovative solutions for the Setúbal Peninsula and Alentejo Litoral.

Internationally, we are committed to the academic mobility of students, teachers and researchers, establishing agreements and partnerships with various organizations and promoting collaboration in research projects.

Entrepreneurship is also one of our priorities. Through IPStartUp, our ideas incubator, we offer a space for growth where ideas can become businesses, with support, resources and specific programs for startups.

We know that cooperating is also about maintaining a connection beyond the academic journey, strengthening ties between graduates and the Polytechnic of Setúbal community. Our AlumniIPS network reinforces this link, promoting opportunities for sharing, collaboration and professional development.

This relationship with the job market is also promoted by our Job Portal, which brings students and graduates closer to companies, creating opportunities for a successful career.

Cooperating also means social commitment, present in the IPS’s social responsibility policies and initiatives and in the different volunteer activities and protocols exclusive to our community, which foster a collaborative environment and joint growth.
