Introduction to the Sustainable Development Goals
-
Objetivos do curso
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were established by the United Nations (UN) as a set of 17 SDGs and 169 targets to be achieved by 2030. They aim to address the main challenges facing the world, such as the eradication of poverty, the promotion of health and well-being, gender equality, quality education, environmental protection, among others. The importance of the SDGs lies in their scope and the need for coordinated and integrated action to promote sustainable development that is economically viable, socially just and environmentally responsible and that ensures a healthy life and promotes well-being for all, at all ages.
